This is a beat I made a week or so ago and I used a sample I've been trying to use for about a year. "The Bottle" by Fieldston alum, Gil-Scott Heron. Most Def Premieres New Track

a couple of days ago, Mos premiered his new track called "World Premiere" on Fuel TV. Sounds like a Madlib beat... which means its fire. Last time these two collaboed was on Auditorium with Slick Rick and that is honestly one of my favorite songs ever made. Can't wait for music Mos, keep up the good work!

WOW

This is the first full length visual from W.A.R. (We Are Renegades) by Pharoahe Monch. It features his first single "Clap" and stars the Wire's Gbenga Akinnagbe, Kim Howard and Josiah Small. Lion's Share Music Group produced the original score. The film is about a police raid gone horribly wrong. Directed by Terrence Nance this film is absolutely stunning, if not better than Kanye West's Runaway, it is damn close. Kanye started a great new step in the music video world and Pharoahe Monch is taking it to the next level. I feel like this kind of art will definitely challenge other brilliant artists to bring their best work. Pharoahe Monch, under the radar, is one of the best rappers of all time. I feel like this album will really put him on the map as a legitimate presence in the rap game (that everyone feels). He is truly an artist. Bravo.

Shaq and Biggie

Today was Shaq's birthday aka #Shaqday and it brings us closer to the 14th anniversary of the death of Christopher Wallace aka The Notorious BIG. This video really says a lot about both of them. Two legends in their own arenas.
